What's Included
What you get with Acadesync that TADS can't offer.
One platform, not three pretending to be one
TADS runs separate modules for admissions, billing, and SIS that don't sync in real-time. In Acadesync, update a student record once and it is reflected everywhere instantly — billing, gradebook, health portal, and parent portal.
No per-payment administrative fees for families
TADS charges administrative fees per payment transaction that get passed to parents. Acadesync charges the school a flat monthly rate based on student count. Families pay their tuition — they are not billed a software fee on top of it.
Responsive mobile experience
Acadesync is fully mobile-responsive across all portals. Parents check grades, pay balances, and update contact information from their phones without calling the office.
- Nurse and health portal — TADS has no health office management module. Acadesync includes health visit logging, medication administration records, immunization tracking, and nurse-to-parent communication — built in, not an add-on.
- Car line management — TADS has no dismissal or car line feature. Acadesync includes a dedicated car line portal where staff can check students out by scanning or searching, with real-time parent arrival notifications.
- Lunch POS — TADS does not offer cafeteria point-of-sale. Acadesync includes a full lunch POS with balance management, lunch ordering, and daily reporting for the cafeteria team.
- Fundraising tools — TADS has no built-in fundraising capability. Acadesync includes donation campaign management, donor tracking, and giving history — useful for annual fund drives and capital campaigns.
Switching from TADS is easier than you think.

1.
Can you migrate our data from TADS?Yes. TADS provides data exports in standard CSV formats for student records, guardian contacts, enrollment history, and financial account data. Because TADS runs separate modules for admissions, billing, and SIS, we request exports from each module separately and reconcile them during import. We map all three data sources into Acadesync's unified student and account records. Most migrations are fully operational within a week. We'll walk through the export process with your team so nothing gets missed.
2.
How does your billing system handle what TADS does for tuition management?Acadesync includes flexible payment plan configuration, per-account billing schedules, autopay on card or ACH, late fee assessment, financial aid discounts, and a parent-facing payment portal — all the tuition management capabilities TADS is known for. The key difference is that your billing data lives in the same system as your student records, grades, health records, and enrollment status. There is no reconciliation between modules because there is only one system.
3.
Does Acadesync really not charge families per payment?Correct. TADS charges an administrative fee per payment transaction that schools typically pass through to families. With a 10-payment annual plan, that is $50 in fees per family — before payment processor charges. Acadesync charges the school a flat monthly rate based on enrolled student count. Families pay their tuition; they are not billed a software fee on top of it. Schools can still configure convenience fees for card payments if they choose, but there is no mandatory per-transaction administrative charge from Acadesync.
4.
How long does it take to switch from TADS?Faster than you would expect. Because TADS runs three separate modules, the mental model of "we have to migrate our whole system" can feel overwhelming — but in practice, you are exporting three sets of CSVs and importing them into one place. Setup in Acadesync is 30 minutes for the platform itself. Data import and configuration for your school's billing rules, grade levels, and class structure typically takes a few days with our help. Most schools are fully operational within a week of starting. We time migrations for summer or semester breaks when possible.
